Sprung

Break open a cherry tree and there are no flowers, but the spring breeze brings forth myriad blossoms.

Okay, so the Cherry Blossom Esplanade may not actually be in full bloom yet, but I've retired my winter jacket in hopes that it will ward off the chill until next October. I spent the morning at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden trying to catch the elusive cherry blossoms (some of which have finally ventured out). They even had a little bonsai cherry tree at the Steinhardt Conservatory.
And the Japanese Garden is freshly stocked with turtles and carp. Sure signs of spring!
Now I just have to plan my trip to Mexico...
